RPS to lease spare office space in headquarters building

The Royal Pharmaceutical Society is to lease two floors of its offices at 66-68 East Smithfield to Ingeus, an employment services business.

The move follows an announcement earlier this year in April that the Society was evaluating the use of its office space in order to maximise value from its properties. The lease is for up to six years and will see around 60 Ingeus staff moving into the RPS headquarter building.

The RPS will retain three floors of the building, including the museum and library on the ground floor, as well as the two upper floors. These will be used for events, collaborative working and team meetings.

RPS chief executive Paul Bennett said: “I am delighted that we have been able to find a suitable tenant for part of our office at St Katherine Docks. Ingeus provide a variety of services, amongst which is the diabetes prevention programme for the NHS, and we see them as an appropriate organisation with which to share our premises."
